Stoney Bracelets
Since 2019, we have been crafting handmade gemstone bracelets for over 20,000 customers. Each stone is hand-selected in our own studio.

Most women who order from us know exactly what they don't want: nothing cheap, nothing over the top, nothing everyone else is already wearing. What they do want is harder to describe. A bracelet that looks beautiful without having to overthink it. One that matches who you are, not a trend. That's what our women's collection is built on.

Four Stones That Work Best for Women

This is not a ranking. These are the four gemstones we sell most to women, based on orders and feedback from recent years. For each stone, we explain for whom it works best.

Moonstone
Moonstone Most Popular

Soft white with a light blue sheen that shifts as you move your wrist. Moonstone is the most popular women's gemstone in our collection. Subtle enough for everyday wear, striking enough to receive compliments. Combines with almost everything — from white and cream to dark blue.

Rhodonite
Rhodonite Color Accent

Pink with black veins. No two beads are alike, making each bracelet unique. Rhodonite is for women who love color but not flashy. The pink is muted, mature — not Barbie pink. Best suited for neutral and dark outfits as a subtle accent.

Amethyst
Amethyst Purple Classic

Deep purple with variations from dark to light per bead. Amethyst is one of the hardest gemstones you can wear — scratch-resistant and colorfast, even after years of daily use. The stone has a rich appearance that is best showcased with a simple outfit.

Afr. Turquoise
African Turquoise Versatile

Blue-green with natural markings — each bead is different. African Turquoise is our most versatile women's gemstone. It combines with both warm and cool colors, suits jeans as well as a dress. Popular as a stacking bracelet alongside Moonstone.

6mm or 8mm: which bead size?

At Stoney Bracelets, you can choose between 6mm and 8mm beads. The difference is not just size — it determines the entire look of the bracelet.

Aspect 6mm 8mm
Appearance Delicate, elegant, subtle More noticeable, robust
Stacking Ideal for 2-3 bracelets together Best as a single bracelet or with one other
Narrowest wrists Most proportionally appealing Can be overwhelming on very slender wrists
Color visibility More subtle, color less dominant More color visible per bead

Most women in our webshop choose 6mm. But there are exceptions. Women who want one statement bracelet often choose 8mm. Both options are made to your wrist size.

Combining: which stones go together?

Two bracelets on the same wrist look best if the stones are coordinated in tone. Here are three combinations our customers order most often together.

Moonstone + Rhodonite

Soft white next to muted pink. Two light stones that together create a feminine but not overly sweet look. This is our most popular women's combination.

Amethyst + Hematite

Purple next to metallic gray. More contrast, more character. For women who love color but don't want it too soft. Hematite adds a cool, business-like layer to the warm purple of amethyst.

African Turquoise + Moonstone

Blue-green next to soft white. Two natural tones that together form a calm, balanced ensemble. Suits women who love earthy colors.

"I wear the moonstone every day. It's the first piece of jewelry I've actually received compliments on from friends who usually don't say anything about jewelry."

Gift for Her

A gemstone bracelet is one of the most popular gifts in our webshop. You're not just giving a piece of jewelry, but a stone that suits the person. Not sure which stone she likes? Moonstone is the safest choice — it is the most universally worn stone and the least polarizing.

Don't know the wrist circumference? Mention it in your order note. We will recommend a common size, and the recipient can always have it adjusted via our repair service.

Frequently asked questions

Which gemstone is most popular among women?+
Moonstone is by far the most popular. Its soft white sheen suits almost any outfit and skin tone. Rhodonite and amethyst follow as second and third choices.
Should I choose 6mm or 8mm?+
Most women choose 6mm. This size is finer, more elegant, and ideal for stacking with other bracelets. Choose 8mm if you want a single striking bracelet that has more presence. Both are made to your wrist circumference.
Can I wear multiple bracelets on the same wrist?+
Yes, that's exactly what 6mm beads are designed for. Take the second bracelet 0.5 cm larger than the first, so they slide comfortably over each other. Popular combinations: moonstone + rhodonite or African turquoise + moonstone.
Are the bracelets also suitable as a gift?+
Yes. Each bracelet comes in the Stoney Bracelets signature packaging. Don't know the wrist circumference? Mention it in your order note and we will recommend a common size. The recipient can always have it adjusted.
Do the stones discolor over time?+
No. Our gemstones are natural and not dyed. The color is inherent to the stone and does not change due to wear, water, or sunlight. Only the elastic wears out after years of use — we replace that through our repair service.
