Labradorite Bracelet

This collection is deliberately small. We currently carry a single black labradorite in 8mm, plus two sets the stone features in. Better a few good batches than a broad row of which half barely flashes.

Why labradorite is different from an ordinary dark stone

At rest, labradorite looks dark grey and unremarkable. Tilt your wrist and a blue or green flash shoots across the surface, gone again with the next movement. That effect comes from thin layers in the stone that refract light, and it is why labradorite photographs poorly: in real life it does more than in a picture.

Related to larvikite and moonstone

All three are feldspars and all three have a light effect rather than a colour. Larvikite is coarser in pattern, moonstone is lighter and softer in glow. If you want something in the same dark corner without the flash, look at the black gemstones.

The right size

Our labradorite is 8mm, the size of the men's collection. Measure your wrist and add about one and a half centimetres; the breakdown is in the size chart. Exchanging for another size costs nothing.
