Tiger eye bracelet

Tiger eye owes its name to the cat's eye effect: a streak of light that glides across the bead as you turn your wrist. That effect comes from parallel fibres in the stone, and the tighter they lie, the sharper the streak. That's what we sort for.

Six colours of tiger eye

• Gold: the classic golden brown, and the best seller of the six.
• Multicolor: gold, blue and reddish brown mixed in one bracelet, and after gold the most ordered.
• Blue: grey-blue and cooler, with a streak that looks more silver than gold.
• Red: reddish brown and the warmest, with the most depth in the streak.
• Green: dark and muted, the calmest of the range.
• Rose: soft reddish brown in 6mm, the finest version we carry.

There's also a matte, blasted version, where the cat's eye effect becomes softer but doesn't disappear.

What to combine it with

Gold tiger eye is the warmest stone in the range and therefore asks for something cool next to it. Next to hematite you get warm against metallic. Next to matte obsidian the gold stands out even more against even black. Gold and red tiger eye side by side is one of our most ordered combinations: two warm tones that reinforce each other. Blue tiger eye works the other way and looks best next to lapis lazuli.

Care

Tiger eye is hard enough for everyday wear. The cat's eye shine stays sharp longest if you apply perfume and hand gel before putting the bracelet on. If it gets wet, dry it with a soft cloth.

The right size

Tiger eye comes in 8mm for men and in 6mm for women. Measure your wrist, add one and a half centimetres and compare it with the size chart. Exchanging for another size is free.
