Care: How to Keep Your Necklace Beautiful
Gemstones are durable but react to water, perfume and direct sunlight. A few basic rules that make the difference:
- Put the necklace on last, after perfume and sunscreen
- Store it separately in a small pouch so it can't rub against other jewelry
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth, without water
- Take it off before showering, exercising and sleeping
- Soft stones like moonstone and lapis lazuli deserve extra care against knocks
